Troop 361 Run for the Future - Sioux Falls, South Dakota - Running

The Troop 361 Run for the Future is a Running race in Sioux Falls, South Dakota consisting of a 5K.

Calling all runners and walkers! Please come join the leadership, youth, and committee members of Troop 361 for the
inaugural Run For The Future fun run/walk. While we call this run a 5-K run, it's really a little longer at 3.61 miles in honor
of our 25+ year history as Troop 361. The race is an out and back beginning and ending at Sertoma Park, Sioux Falls, SD.
The course is generally level, with just a few minor inclines. The course should allow for some fast run times because of how
level it is. There will be a water station at the turnaround point. We hope to make this race an annual event, and grow the
runners, and community involvement each year. Thank you for making our first race a success!


One part of the Scout Oath is: To keep myself physically strong. . . This new 5-K race in Sioux Falls does its part to help
Scouts, adult leaders, and community members keep this part of the Oath.
All proceeds from this race will benefit Troop 361. Some of the things the funds will be used for include: scholarship to
camps for boys, Leader training and materials, youth training, purchase of new tents, and maintenance of existing equipment,
and more.
