The Butte Challenge is a Running race in Hermiston, Oregon consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 10K and 5K.
The Butte Challenge is the most established community walk/run in Eastern Oregon. With the generous support of the East Oregonian, Hermiston Herald, countless sponsors and volunteers the event has been successful each year, and has become the most significant fundraiser for the Hermiston Cross Country Program (Middle & High School). The event also features a raffle in which each participant is automatically entered.
