Our competitors include young kids, stroller walkers, competitive masters and elite runners, and we encourage all ages and abilities to come and join the fun. If you're looking for a 5k personal best, the course is a fast one! Over the years, the race's popularity has grown and in 2015 it was rated as one of the 7 Must-Do 5k Races in the United States by Competitor Magazine.

Every year, the event raises money for the Achon Uganda Children's Fund (AUCF), an organization focused on providing improved healthcare, education and exposure to sport in Uganda communities. The event has supported the AUCF every year since its inaugural run in 2010, and we hope to continue to expand our donation in years to come.
