St. John ZooRun - Tulsa, Oklahoma - Running

The St. John ZooRun is a Running race in Tulsa, Oklahoma consisting of a 1 Mile and 10K and 5K.

Post-Race Activities
Join us at our H.A. Chapman Event Lodge for the post-race hospitality party, which will include the St. John Kids Club, face painting, jupiter jumps, and MORE! Runners will have access to food and beverage provided by Tulsa area establishments.

At the conclusion of the races, you and your family are welcome to enjoy the zoo for the rest of the day!

Awards
All 5k and 10k race finishers will receive a ZooRun finisher medal at the finish line.
Children participating in the St. John Fun Run will receive a specialty finisher ribbon at the finish line.
The top male and female finishers in the 5k race and 10k race will receive special prizes.
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 males and females in the standard age groups for the 5k race and 10k race.

*Awards will be mailed out to award recipients after the race results are official. Expected delivery time is within two weeks after the conclusion of the run.


Course Info
The 5k and 10k races are certified by USA Track & Field. The courses wind through Mohawk Park and end inside the Tulsa Zoo. The St. John Fun Run takes place entirely on zoo grounds.

Parking Info
You MUST be inside the Mohawk Park gates and parked by 8:20 am. The gates close at this time for the safety of the runners. No exceptions and no refunds will be given due to late arrival. Gates will re-open at 10 a.m.

To avoid race day congestion, you can access the main zoo parking lot by using the alternate zoo entrance. You will turn on North Winston Avenue which is just west of Yale Avenue off of East 36th Street North. Winston Avenue merges with Mohawk Boulevard. Follow Mohawk Boulevard around the golf course directly into the zoo parking lot. Sheridan experiences the most traffic; East 36th Street North also can be accessed via Harvard and Yale avenues.

If you need to leave the parking lot before the main gates to Mohawk Park re-open, please utilize the alternate entrance route and park at the west end of the main zoo parking lot. Once the races have started, you will be able to exit out this way.
