Oklahoma City Turkey Tracks 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - Running

The Oklahoma City Turkey Tracks 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run is a Running race in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma consisting of a 5K.

The OKC Turkey Tracks 5K and 1-Mile Run is the perfect family-friendly event to kick off your Thanksgiving celebration. The course is open to runners and walkers alike who are looking for a morning activity to get the blood flowing and the stomach moving ahead of that big afternoon feast! All ages and speeds are welcome. Strollers are also welcomea"we simply ask that you stage toward the back of the pack and stay to the right side of the course for the safety of you and the other runners.

This USATF-certified course runs north from the start/finish in downtown Oklahoma City, just north of 5th Street on Harvey Avenue through midtown up to 12th Street. Runners will turn left (west) on 12th toward Hudson Avenue where they will turn right (north) and continue through Heritage Hills up to 22nd Street where they will turn right (east).

Runners will then continue to Broadway where they will turn right again (south) and then right again on 12th Street, following that back to Harvey Avenue and turn left (south) into the downhill home stretch to the finish.

Costume Contest
The Turkey Track's costume contest returns! The contest will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the post race party. The top two winners will be decided by the crowd and will receive a pie from Pie Junkie
