The LCpl Brett Wightman 5K/Kids Fun Run was started for a day of
remembrance and celebration of life for LCpl Brett Wightman who lost his life August 3, 2005 serving his country in Hadithah, Iraq. Brett aspired to be a Marine since his childhood and made his dream come true right after graduating from East Clinton High School. All proceeds from the LCpl. Brett Wightman Memorial 5K will go to the foundation scholarship fund. Each year scholarships are awarded to 2 graduating East Clinton Seniors. Register today to remember an amazing young man who fulfilled his dreams, served his country and loved being a Marine.
