The Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot is a Running race in Columbus, Ohio consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run.
Proceeds of the event will benefit Easterseals and their Early Intervention program which provides hands-on, comprehensive support to help children reach their full potential--regardless of challenges, needs or disabilities.
Voted best aHometown Favoritea by Runners World Magazine this event is a celebration of family, friends, fun and good times.
Participants in the event have the option of entering the 5 Mile Run/Walk or the 2 Mile Run/Walk. All participants will receive a great looking (long sleeve) race shirt, goody bag, chip timing and handsome finisher medal. Additionally, a GREAT tasting pumpkin pie will be awarded to all finishers. There is always a great turnout and course with views of the city. family friendly and well organized. The race is for all experience levels but broken up by average mile so you are not cluttered together.
