The Son Run 5K is a Running race in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K.


Annual Son Run race takes participants from the Wrightsville Beach Park and Recreation Center along flat surface scenic loop course around Wrightsville Beach. The race benefits 2 charities with primary focus on children; Methodist Home for Children & Congregations for Children (C4C). The finish line consists of a celebration with awards including Gift Certificates for Top Overall Finisher (male/female) and coveted Son Run Pies for Top Finishers in designated age groups. Ribbons will be awarded to all Kids' Fun Run Race Finishers.
