Jack-O-Lantern Jaunt - Concord, North Carolina - Running

The Jack-O-Lantern Jaunt is a Running race in Concord, North Carolina consisting of a 1 Mile Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K.

Annual Jack O Lantern Jaunt 5k - Kids Fun Run and Tot Trot. Races are part of the all day festival from 1 pm - 10 pm. Festival activities include free mini golf and paddleboat rides throughout the day with paid race admissions (just show your bib); games and activities for all ages - human checkers, pumpkin roll obstacle course, costume contest, pumpkin carving (bring own pumpkin but must be carved on site; and then after the race enjoy music and dancing by The Delmonico's

5k race is run on the perimeter trail around the park. 90% of the race is on crushed granite screenings with beautiful views of the lake and the fall color of the trees throughout the park.

Awards for 4 deep in 15 different age groups as well as overall male/female, masters male/female, and grand masters male/female.
