The race began in 1970 with just 127 entrants racing four laps of Central Park. So. Many. Hills. But the staff are amazing. This was the most grueling race I have ever completed. It was in the rain, and I went in injured.

a Volunteers are A+ and it is a tight ship of organization, flow, and camaraderie. Excellent vibe all around.
