Welcome to the Annual Black and Gold 5K! The purpose of the event is to serve as a fundraiser for the Alamogordo Tiger Cross Country team. The fun run will showcase to the community what Alamogordo Cross Country is all about. Participants will run on the same course that our Alamogordo Cross Country team runs on. The 5K will be a trail run through the desert and on the grass inside Griggs Sports Complex along the base of the Sacramento Mountains. The race will begin and end at Griggs Sports Complex. There are 3 categories for the event: 5K run, 5K walk, and 1 Mile
