What's the Turkey Trot all about?

It's an NJ holiday tradition!
Held annually on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the Turkey Trot is not only a great distance run for seasoned athletes, but the perfect first time event for weekend warriors or a healthy day out for families. Burn that Thanksgiving meal off in a hurry!

We Trot Together program - No Runner Left Behind



A portion of event proceeds from registrations and sponsorships will be reserved for the WeTrotTogether program. In 2021, runners and aspiring runners can request a discounted or complimentary entry into the Westfield Turkey Trot if the registration fee presents a financial burden or a barrier to attending and competing. This program allows for our event and each participant and partner to directly support others in our running community. Environmental Strides



If it is safe for you to ride with fellow participants, we encourage carpooling to all of our events.

We encourage you to bring your own water in your favorite reusable bottle to reduce the amount of waste produced at the event. We will always have water available for each of you, but this is one easy way to reduce single-use plastics.

Please be mindful of trash bins vs. recycling bins. We want every single one of our plastic water bottles to make it to the recycling center instead of the landfill.
