The Born to Run 5 Mile Race is a Running race in Freehold, New Jersey consisting of a 5 Miles.
Many of our nation's citizens might think of the day after Thanksgiving mainly as Black Friday (the busiest shopping day of the year) but on the morning of the 24th of November they may competing in the 32nd annual Born to Run five-mile race, presented by the Freehold Area Running (FARC), at the Monmouth County seat of Freehold, New Jersey. The race benefits the Open Door Food Pantry of Freehold. The title of this event has a connection to Bruce Springsteen, famous American songwriter, singer and guitarist, who was raised in Freehold and has an album by that name: Born to Run. 
Great course! Such a nice time of year to do it and u finish close to Bruce Springsteen's childhood house!
