The Seacoast Half Marathon starts and finishes at Portsmouth (NH) H.S. The course includes views of scenic salt marsh, the gorgeous NH seacoast, and historic villages. The race is run on the Sunday of Veteran's Day weekend. With Caring For The Coast, One Step At A Time as it's tag line, the Seacoast Half Marathon chooses a different local non-profit as the race beneficiary each year. Those organizations receive all of the race proceeds, minus direct race expenses not covered by sponsors. Each of the race water stops are staffed by different local non-profit organizations, and they each receive a stipend for their efforts on race day.
