Begin your Independence Day by bringing the family to the Firecracker Mile. With separate events for Open, Novice and 14 & under milers, and shorter races for runners ages 9 and under, there is something for the entire family. Families may enter the Family Team category (related by blood or marriage) with trophies to the top five teams, calculated by adding times of fastest three runners. Medals to top three in ten year age groups in the Open and Novice Mile events, to all finishers in 14 & Under mile, and to all finishers in the Pee Wee Dash or Junior Jog. You need NOT designate a mile category or kids' category when entering--you will tell on race day.
