Phillip LaVallee, a 2012 Monticello High School graduate, preparing for his sophomore year at South Dakota State University, was hit by a van and killed while out on a training run in rural Monticello on August 8, 2013. It is in the memory of Phil and all the things that he loved that we are proud to dedicate this run as the Phillip LaVallee Memorial Run.
4 mile run or a 2.5 mile walk through the Bertram Chain of Lake Regional Park. Registration fee includes a t-shirt (while supplies last). Refreshments provided after the race. Register online: www.monticellocommunitycenter.com or at the Community Center.
