Joe's Journey for Recovery - Barre, Massachusetts - Running

The Joe's Journey for Recovery is a Running race in Barre, Massachusetts consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K.

The 5K Run/Walk will be a chip timed event and awards will be given for male & female divisions by age grouping.

**New to the event this year is a Cornhole Tournament.

There will be a kids activity course with a $5 charge for the day in which the kids can go through as many times as they want.

Proceeds will be to benefit community outreach and organizations in memory of Joseph A Duval. Joe was an amazing brother, son, grandson, uncle, and friend. He sadly lost his battle with addiction in 2018. In remembrance of Joe, all of those who have lost their battle and those that continue to fight, we educate today's youth and the community about substance use disorder, physical wellness and join in the fight to end the stigma that follows addiction. Addiction doesn't discriminate. Our Journey Starts Here.

Food & water will be available for purchase.

Food trucks will be at the event including: Big T's Jerky House and others

Music will be provided by Atlas Pro DJs

We will have resource tables, face painting, raffles & more.

Water & fruit will be provided to the racers at the finish line by Wholesome Farmers Market

Please note: Registration on the day of the event will be at a slightly higher price.
