Dash for Dogs 5K - Lewiston, Maine - Running

The Dash for Dogs 5K is a Running race in Lewiston, Maine consisting of a 5K.

Annual Dash for Dogs 5K & Strutt your Mutt Dog Walk. If you'd like, bring your 4-legged partner and walk or run for a great cause. The 5K race (timed for runners, not timed for walkers) will start at the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society at 9:00 a.m. Awards for the runners will follow completion of the run.

Lamey Wellehan gift cards to top male/female finishers in each age category and top two male/female finishers who run with a dog. All walkers and runners will be entered to win great prizes, which will be drawn after the awards are given.

The course is the same as last year, and utilizes the paved Greenway Trail near the river. Maps to come soon! The Dash for Dogs 5k is one the very few road races that allows you to run with your canine companion. Your registration fee will go directly towards the care of the over 4,000 dogs, cats and other companion animals that the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society takes in annually.
