What is the Summer Grove Baptist Church 5K/10K Mission Run/Walk? This event now in its 6th year raises funds each year to send out church mission groups on 6 mission trips throughout the world each summer. All funds raised from this event will go towards supplies and expenses for these trips.
Both the 5K and 10K will start at 8:00 a.m. from the Bell Tower area.
The race starts at the Bell Tower, goes around the church, through Sheriff's Safety Town, through an adjoining residential neighborhood and back to the starting point. Race certification will be conducted by Sportspectrum.
