The Girls on the Run 5K is a Running race in Metairie, Louisiana consisting of a 5K.

Join us for our Spring 5K presented by the Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust! Our Spring 5k Celebration will be hosted at LaSalle Park and the race start at 10:00 AM. Community members of all ages, gender, race & religion are invited to participate! Our 5Ks are full of bubbles, sparkles, tutus and JOY! Join us as over 200 3rd-5th graders leap across the finish line to unleash their limitless potential! There is a pre-race warm-up and post-race Wellness Fair celebration, AND over 15 Mardi Gras Dance Krewes as well! It is simply, THE MOST FUN! Bring the kids, all ages! Bring your friends, all of 'em! Bring the whole family! Get your girl friends together and come out to cheer on the women of tomorrow! Let's support the youth of New Orleans as they accomplish their goal of running a 5k, they've been setting this goal and working towards this for TEN weeks!
