Running With Pete 5K - Wichita, Kansas - Running

The Running With Pete 5K is a Running race in Wichita, Kansas consisting of a 5K.

Peter has run in area races and wants to give back to the Wichita community. Funds raised will go to people who need help in Wichita. Come run with us and make a difference in the community.

Peter Chebii 32, was born in Baringo, Kenya. He went on to run for Kasisit High School and was one of the school's top runners. Due to injury after high school it limited his running career. Peter slowly recovered and began running again. Peter went on to compete in the Standard Charter half marathon in Kenya, placing 8th out of 10,000 people. He had received an opportunity to run races in the United States. As of January 3, 2017 Peter's current world rank is 377th place. Peter has run races in the United States, Germany, Thailand and Kenya.
