The Run for the Roses is a Running race in Ames, Iowa consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 10K and 5K.


The morning starts with a 5K or 10K run/walk and a Kid's Fun Run followed by an omelet breakfast prepared by your favorite AOII. You receive a long sleeve t-shirt and red rose for participating! Additional breakfast tickets are available as well. Awards are given to first male and female finishers and top three finishers in each age division in the 5K and 10K. Door prizes are awarded at the breakfast!
