Dunes Dash 5k - Ogden Dunes, Indiana - Running

The Dunes Dash 5k is a Running race in Ogden Dunes, Indiana consisting of a 5K.

Our Founder, Dorothy Buell, was surrounded by the beauty of the Indiana dunes at her home in Ogden Dunes. It was there that she gathered a group of fearless women to embark on a great challenge--to save the Indiana dunes from rapid development. In celebration of our founder, we will take to the streets, trails, and beaches of her Ogden Dunes home for our second annual Dunes Dash - a 5K for a Cause. Runners both novice and avid can join in on this fun 5k race. If you're looking to run a different kind of race all while supporting a good cause, look no further. Registration and free t-shirt pick up at 8:00 a.m. CST
Race starts at 9:00 a.m.

Soccer Field Location: 70 Hillcrest Road, Ogden Dunes, IN 46368
Parking is available at the Ogden Dunes Church located at 116 Hillcrest Rd, Portage, IN 46368.

TIMING
Dash runners are timed using a computerized IPICO chip timing system for fast and accurate results. You can check your results after the race at Runsignup.com. If you did the Dash last year you will be able to compare your Dash results for each year.

- Top 3 Men & Top 3 Women in Each Age Group
- Age Group Awards: 0-8, 9-12, 13-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+!
- First Place Man & First Place Woman in Master's Division (40 years and older)

Complimentary T-shirts will only be guaranteed to runners who register before September 15, 2019.

COURSE
The course map will vary slightly because of the beach erosion that has occurred over the last year. We will have final course details soon.

BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE!
Show your love of the Indiana Dunes and Lake Michigan and bring your own reusable water bottle. We will have recyclable water bottles for distribution for Dashers in need of extra hydration.
