The Luke Elsner Memorial 5K is a Running race in North Vernon, Indiana consisting of a 5K.

In 2008 the first Walk to Remember was held Labor Day weekend in rememberence of Luke. The following year we begin the 5K Run/Walk and we have been growing each and every year. The Saturday before Labor Day is when all happens. With supportive sponsors and participants from our community this scholarship is one of the most successful scholarships that the Jennings County Community Foundation currently holds.
