The Naperville 10K is a Running race in Naperville, Illinois consisting of a 10K and 5K.
Naperville, IL will host the inaugural Naperville 10K and 5K finishing in the family-friendly atmosphere of Centennial Beach Park in the heart of Naperville. The Naperville 10K & 5K Road Races will have a wave start system in place to start the event. Runners will be seeded into groups according to your estimated finish time. Each group will be staged in a holding corral prior to the start of their group.
Reminder to Runners: The bib tag timing system will not record a starting time for a runner until that runner has crossed the timing mats at the start line. Time spent waiting to cross the start line is
This was my first 10k. Overall a great experience. Only suggestion I would have is to maybe also include 1/2 mile markers, instead of just mile markers. Probably not a big deal but I think it would help runners stay motivated, especially in the last half of the race :-) More...
