The Honolulu Rainbow EKIDEN is a Running race in Honolulu, Hawaii consisting of a 5K.
The Honolulu Rainbow EKIDEN is a spectacular and popluar course that starts at Kapiolani Park and runs up Diamond Head Road to a designated turning point and back. A team of 3 to 5 members individually run the same lap as a relay. One lap is 5km (about 3.1 miles). Each runner will carry a team sash and hand it over to the next team member waiting for his/her turn.
