Newnan Junior Service League Shamrock Run - Newnan, Georgia - Running

The Newnan Junior Service League Shamrock Run is a Running race in Newnan, Georgia consisting of a 1 Mile Kids Run/Fun Run and 10K and 5K.

Annual ShamRock Run is a charity run benefitting The Coweta Samaritan Clinic. The Coweta Samaritan Clinic offers free primary medical care to uninsured and under-insured residents of Coweta County who meet established income limits. Their mission is to provide quality healthcare and compassionate support in a faith-based environment.

The 10K course is for competitive runners, the 5K and Leprechaun Dash for the whole family, and the ShamRock Shuffle for seniors. The 5K and 10K race routes are both USATF certified courses. The Leprechaun Dash will be 2 laps around the Courthouse Square. Walking, dogs and strollers are welcome for the 5K and the Leprechaun Dash. Orion Racing will professionally manage the finish line and use RFID chip timing to ensure the most accurate finish times possible. A flat screen TV will be on site to provide a live results feed. Results will be emailed to participants at the end of the race.
