912 Myers Park Drive, Tallahassee, FL
The Rex Cleveland Magic Mile is a Running race in Tallahassee, Florida consisting of a 1 Mile.
The Fun doesn't stop until Thanksgiving Day is over - when the Turkey Trot miles are run and the calories consumed. When the calendar turns to November, The Tallahassee Turkey Trot is not far behind. A good thing should last at least a month, so let's start early with a downhill mile. This will be the fourth running of the Rex Cleveland Magic! Mile. The Capital Cascades Bridge has been an exciting new addition to the fantastic trail system and network of parks we have in Tallahassee, Leon County and the Big Bend area. The Bridge connects Cascades Park and FAMU Way, including the Capital Cascades Trail Park Extension.
This will be the fastest mile course in Tallahassee. Starting from one of the highest points in Tallahassee (near the intersection of Golf Terrace Dr. and Fairway Dr), participants and runners and walkers of all ages are invited to take the Rex Cleveland Magic Mile plunge downhill through Myers Park toward and then across the Capital Cascades Bridge Crossing and onto the Cascade trail which runs right alongside of FAMU Way, finishing before Railroad Square and Railroad Avenue. Proceeds from this race will help fund youth running programs.
