The Gate River Run is a Running race in Jacksonville, Florida consisting of a 15K and 5K.
The Gate River Run (GRR), formerly known as the Jacksonville River Run, is an annual 15 kilometer road running event in Jacksonville, Florida that attracts both competitive and recreational runners. It has been the US National Championship 15K since 1994 and in 2007 became the largest 15K race in the country. It was voted [as] one of the top US Road Races for last 20 years by Runner's World Magazine. Local news media describe it as one of Jacksonville's premiere annual events.

This is one of my favorite JACKSONVILLE races! The only thing it really needs is GATORADE or some type of electrolyte drink on the course. When itas humid and hot, water just doesnat cut it.
This was my second year running the Gate River run & I loved it. The views are beautiful, the shirts are awesome & as always so are the medals.
P.s. I did the 15K, not the fun run. (That was the only option)
Was first time running it awesome experience the crowd was into it the whole way through the course will do again next year
