The The Cupcake Race @ Hawthorne Trail is a Running race in Gainesville, Florida consisting of a Half Marathon.
Come out and join us for a lot of great fun, and great treats! Enjoy either a 5k or 10k and half marathon run through the beautiful Hawthorne trail. After the race, cool off with some refreshments and delicious Gourmet cupcakes. Every registrant receives a race shirt, finishers medal and a gourmet cupcake This is an event for all ages, so bring your kids! We look forward to seeing you out there!

Poor signage re: race/ starting line, no signage on track. No anthem, music, or announcer. Gentleman with megaphone did best he could. Cupcake great treat, although take home bag or box would've been appreciated. Will know for next time.
