Lauren Bardino Memorial 5K - Winsted, Connecticut - Running

The Lauren Bardino Memorial 5K is a Running race in Winsted, Connecticut consisting of a 5K.

This race is memory of our beautiful daughter, Lauren, who lost her life to the opioid epidemic in Dec 2017. She was very creative and artistic.... And loved humankind beyond measure...

Since so many have lost love ones to this epidemic, join us in helping to raise awareness, to end the stigma, the shame, and to provide hope.

We encourage those who are in recovery,to join us as well.

With the support of all , we can provide hope, encourage healthy coping mechanisms, and help others overcome , Not only the grief fornthose who have suffered a loss, but the demons of this disease for those thay silently suffer.

This race is in the beautiful, picturesque, rolling hills of Winchester. Beginning and ending at a favorite park of Laurens .

It is a family fun event! Prizes will be awarded, for the top three finishers in each category!

There will be music, plenty of snacks and a Beautiful vista to enjoy after the race !

It is a 3.1 mile course that begins on a short hill, then downhill through the winding curvy roads of Winchester. It ends on a dirt road with another hill at the end , leveling out to the finish ...... hope to see you there!
