The Andrej 5K Run is a Running race in Mansfield, Connecticut consisting of a 5K.
Friends and family of Andrej Cavarkapa are holding the first annual Andrej 5k in his honor. The run will take place at one of his favorite running places, The Hollow where he grew up. Andrej was a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University, and a science & physics teacher at RHAM High School. He had a deep passion for running, art, the environment, sciences and teaching. All funds raised from the 5k will go towards the Andrej Cavarkapa Memorial Scholarship at ECSU, but this run is also intended to keep his spirit and his love for running alive.
