Lovely neighborhood race

"This was my first time running the Ridgewood Run, which my fiance and I completed together on Memorial Day 2015. It was a beautiful day for a run, with a gently sloping course that was very pleasant to jog. Tons of families out, both running and cheering along the sidelines. Some

Timing was off.... by a lot.

My watch had me running 30 seconds a mile slower than my race time. . All my friends race times were way faster than their watches. Because of COVID they didn't give any age group awards. T-shirt's were nice. Hilly course.

Motor Citymaking a comeback.

Ran the state side half marathon because I got closed out of the Canada/U.S. Half. But, getting over that disappointment was easier with the 10 am start. Flat course with lots to see. Bridges, parks, sky scrapers, tuba and bag pipe players, costumes and fountains. Detroit is not as broken down
