This race was extremely inspiring to run. I loved every moment of it. Everything was well organized. The packet pickup was a breeze. The race expo was a bit crowded, but the race itself was perfect. The course had great cheering crowds almost the entire route, the marines at every mile

My watch had me running 30 seconds a mile slower than my race time. . All my friends race times were way faster than their watches. Because of COVID they didn't give any age group awards. T-shirt's were nice. Hilly course.

Ran the state side half marathon because I got closed out of the Canada/U.S. Half. But, getting over that disappointment was easier with the 10 am start. Flat course with lots to see. Bridges, parks, sky scrapers, tuba and bag pipe players, costumes and fountains. Detroit is not as broken down
