Pumpkin Run by Senior Coastsiders - Half Moon Bay, California - Running

The Pumpkin Run by Senior Coastsiders is a Running race in Half Moon Bay, California consisting of a Half Marathon and 1 Mile Kids Run/Fun Run and 10K and 5K.

The Pumpkin Run has been a tradition in Half Moon Bay for many years and takes participants along the beautiful Coastal Trail overlooking the Pacific Ocean. All proceeds will benefit Senior Coastsiders, a local non-profit dedicated to providing opportunities, support and resources for older adults living on the coast from Montara to Pescadero and Skyline to the Sea.

Half marathon will have same start as 5K/10K but will proceed north past the 10K turn around to Mirada Road. At Mirada it will return south past Poplar, through Wavecrest and then turn around at the end of Redondo Beach Road. After the Redondo Beach Road turn around, the course will follow its same path back north, past Poplar and up to Kelly State Beach where it will re-join the 5K/10K courses up Kelly to Potter and then to Miramontes to return to Hatch Elementary. This course will pass aid stations six times (Poplar aid station 3x, 10K turn around station 2x and Redondo Beach Road 1x. THIS IS A MIXED TERRAIN RUN INCLUDING DIRT/TRAIL RUNNING IN WAVECREST PROPERTY.

Proceeds from the Pumpkin Run go directly to Senior Coastsiders, a Half Moon Bay non-profit that provides resources, support and opportunities for older adults living on the Coastside. Senior Coastsiders strives to affirm the value and dignity of Seniors and act as a community resource for information, caregiver support and innovative approaches to successful aging. Our programs include daily lunch, classes and lectures, Meals on Wheels, and Home Rehab.
