Red Nose Run - Del Mar, California - Running

The Red Nose Run is a Running race in Del Mar, California consisting of a 5K.

Annual Red Nose Run Holiday Fun Run! The event includes your choice of a 3k or 5k run along the beautiful Del Mar beach. Participants are encouraged to dress in their best Holiday apparel and a prize will be awarded for best costume.

After the race participants will enjoy a jolly after party at the Poseidon Restaurant with hosted snacks and a cash bar. There will also be opportunity drawings and a live auction with over $5,000 in prizes up for grabs!

Race Background and History -

The Red Nose Run is sponsored annually by the Low and Slow Running Club of Del Mar, which consists of runners of various ages and running abilities, who have been getting together for Saturday morning runs for many years.

In 1992 several members started the Run with one charity, Fresh Start Surgical Gifts , which remains one of the two charities the Run benefits today. Later a second charity, Semper Fi Fund charity , was added to benefit from the Run.
