Lake Anza, Tilden Regional Park, Berkeley, CA
The Grizzly Peak is a Running race in Berkeley, California consisting of a Half Marathon and Marathon and 10K Trail Run and 30K and 50 Miles (Ultra).
Start at Lake Anza and travel through popular Tilden Regional Park in the Berkeley hills.
(Distances are accurately measured using a Rolatape surveyor's measuring wheel.) There is a 9-hour time limit for all distances. Fully-stocked aid stations every 3 - 4 miles. You can expect fresh fruit, salty snacks, assorted candy, water, and Clif Shot Electrolyte sports drink. It is highly recommended that runners carry at least 20 oz. of water between aid stations. T-shirts will be given to all pre-registered runners. Award medals are given to the 1st female and male finishers overall and top three finishers in each age group.
