Midway Shelter Winter 5K - Alameda, California - Running

The Midway Shelter Winter 5K is a Running race in Alameda, California consisting of a 5K.

Join us this year for the annual Midway Shelter 5k run and walk. Event takes place this year at the Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal in Alameda on Bay Farm Island and supports a great cause. The run will take you along the beautiful shoreline of Bay Farm Island and is a flat out and back with views of San Francisco and the Alameda Main Island. Race time is 9:00am for the 5k.

T-shirts will be provided for the first 100 participants, and Registration for 18 and under in the 5k will be $20.00 and is reflected at the check-out

There is plenty of parking at the Ferry terminal and we will have snacks and drinks when the race is over.

Midway Shelter provides emergency shelter to homeless women and children and is operated through a partnership with Alameda Homeless Network and Building Futures. Founded in 1989, Midway Shelter of Alameda provides a safe and supportive environment for women and children experiencing homelessness. By pledging any dollar amount, in addition to your registration, you can support the Midway Shelter provide a safe place for women and their children.
