The Hot Cocoa 5K is a Running race in Oro Valley, Arizona consisting of a 5K.
Annual race will take place along the multi-use path, beginning at Steam Pump Ranch, and will include snacks, water and of course, hot cocoa. It's a fun way to start your New Year's resolutions!
Runners, walkers and strollers welcome!
1) Need porta potties
2) Play National Anthem
3) Hot cocoa cold
4) Finish the race after you come down ramp. Don't have runners have to go around parking lots
5) The medals for winners were pretty pathetic
6) No T shirt?
Location was easy to reach.
Volunteers did their best to help parking (lot of spaces available even for an attendance of about 500 runners) and manage people before and after the run (beverage and snacks available).
