The Dave McKay Memorial Run for the Magic Half Marathon is a Running race in Flagstaff, Arizona consisting of a Half Marathon and Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K.

The second oldest Half Marathon in Arizona, and the ONLY one that directly impacts the lives of local youth in the high country! The Dave McKay Memorial Half Marathon/5K Fun Run is an adventure with the monsoon madness and spectacular views. It is considered one of the most scenic and challenging half marathons in the Southwest and all proceeds benefit children by helping Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff match them with appropriate adult mentors. Enjoy meeting runners at the FREE pasta dinner the Friday before the race. We are a proud member race of the Run Flagstaff Summer Series! Please take advantage of the special early packet pick up/registration held at Run Flagstaff, also at the pasta dinner, and again on race day, but prices go up race day.

The Flagstaff Summer Series Races, except for Run for Life, take place on forest dirt roads and trails. Long courses are considered competitive level, short, non-competitive.
