Hallin' Up the Gap Challenge - Collinsville, Alabama - Running

The Hallin' Up the Gap Challenge is a Running race in Collinsville, Alabama consisting of a 5K.

Formerly known as the Turkey Trot 5K Challenge, this is the Annual 5K Challenge. Taking off from the Collinsville Public Library runners will test their endurance as they ascend over 600 feet to the top of Lookout Mountain in just a mere 1.5 miles. After making it to the top & knowing you're halfway there it's all downhill from here. Try to set new PR's as you blaze a trail back down to the valley floor.

Known for it's steep switch backs, Halls Gap Road is a hidden gem for any runner who hasn't experienced it first hand. Beautiful views of Downtown Collinsville get better & better with each switch back you take. Fully shaded from the sun, it's a great run year round.
