The Run-4-Val 5K is a Running race in Centre, Alabama consisting of a 5K.


Run-4-Val is an annual memorial 5k and 1 mile health walk in memory of former Chief of Police Val Courtney. Our goal is to recognize and honor community leaders who have founded and served our community through the years. There will be a scholarship awarded at the end of the race at the awards ceremony. All proceeds go to the Val Courtney Memorial Scholarship Fund. The 5k is on a certified course that is chip timed. Run-4-Val 5K takes place April 24, 2021 in Centre, Alabama.
