About The SHOC Walk & Run

The SHOC Walk & Run is a Running race in , consisting of a 5K and 10K and 5K Walk and 10K Walk and 1 Mile Walk.

GREAT CAUSE
The SHOC Walk & Run supports the Sherie Hildreth Ovarian Cancer Foundation's mission of raising funds for ovarian and gynecologic cancer research, increasing public awareness, and providing survivors with resources and opportunities to feel empowered through their fight. All proceeds from the event are donated directly to the Gynecologic Research Lab at OHSU Knight Cancer Institute in Portland, Oregon.


GREAT EVENT ... JOIN US FOR OUR 16th ANNUAL VIRTUAL WALK & RUN
Join over 700 walkers and runners for our annual SHOC Walk & Run, always on the first Saturday in August. Offering a 5K and 10K walk or run option, along with a 1-Mile Family FunKeep Reading Walk. The course this year is "up to you!" ... walk your neighborhood, along the waterfront, on your favorite trail, or even inside on a treadmill. This virtual event is an opportunity for families and individuals to "come together" independently for a cause in support of the SHOC Foundation's mission to locally fund ovarian cancer research.
