Shamrock Beer Run Chicago - Arlington Heights, Illinois - Obstacle & Mud Runs

The Shamrock Beer Run Chicago is a Obstacle & Mud Runs race in Arlington Heights, Illinois consisting of a 5K Novelty Run/Walk.

Start with a toast of a craft brew then run 5K, stopping each kilometer or so to drink another craft beer! Enjoy a pint of your favorite at the finish line!!! The 5K run/walk features 5 beer stops, one at each 1K serving up 3 oz of craft beer so you're sure not run out of thirst! Five craft breweries sponsoring the race will be present to provide samples for you to taste. 31 ounces of beer total!!

All participants also receive a souvenir pint-glass & long-sleeve t-shirt with their registration. At the end of the run, participants will receive a commemorative finishers medal (which in 2016 was an awesome bottle opener with magnet) and pint of beer from the brewery of their choice. Additional beer tickets may be purchased at the finish area after the event.

Because this event serves alcohol, local laws and ordinances apply. Participation is limited to those who are 21 years of age or older. A valid proof of age ID will be required to receive a wrist band that signifies an approved participant.
