"Challenging but awesome race.

- Packet - more goodies than most races.
- Swim - Even though it's far north it's still the Hudson. In 2013 we believe the course was short.
- Bike - Challenging hills but great course. Enough aid stations.
- Run - Challenging hills again but amazing crowd support. BEAUTIFUL

The organizers described the course as "gentle, rolling hills", but it was a very difficult course. Worse than the hills, much of the course was on concrete. Distance running on concrete is very difficult. I hope the race can survive, but it isn't likely without a change to

Rolling hills, cool temperatures, fall foliage, swag!!! The after party was a little anticlimactic, but there was warm soup, a massage table and great swag. This race raised money for the Survival Center.
