"Overall a very positive experience. Here are my thoughts:

Pros

1) I liked the race course. Although I know it wasn't easy because of the hills, what goes up must comes down. The first few miles had a good amount of hills but they weren't too steep, and going downhill was really helpful.

I have raced this 5k the past 2 years as well as my kids did the 1miler last year. Super well run event, great support from the families on the neighborhood we run through, kiddos loved the ceramic finisher medals...oh yeah...there are PANCAKES at the end!!!

I actually did the Aloha Readiness Series races a few different years. These are very basic and done very cheaply ("bring your own toilet paper" cheap and yes, there is a story to go with that!) But their intention is to help you train for a longer race and
