This was a great race. The signage was clear and it wasn't too crowded. The announcers were fun & played great music, plus there were a lot of people around to cheer runners on. It was relatively flat, minus a few small hills, and lots of great post-race entertainment.

I've raced Coogans several times. NYRR is a great organization and the logistics of their 5ks like Coogans is impressive. Washington Heights has a lot of culture to be enjoyed during the race. Ft Tyron Park and upper Manhattan is fairly hilly, so this is NOT like racing

The Anderson Road Runners have always done an outstanding job with this race and their experience shows! They keep the runner in mind with details, course directions, course safety, finish shoot, overall organization and fun! Can't say enough good thing about this running club's event.
