This race was very easy to access and had amazing weather and a scenic route. I enjoyed running it since it was well-managed and the crowds were minimal. Packet pick-up was at Navy Pier, though, which was somewhat difficult to access.

I thought the general layout and organization of the race was simple and straightforward. The competitors ranged from young first timers to aged veterans. This was my 2nd Chicago marathon, my 7th marathon including The NYC marathon, chicago, by far is the most entertaining, well organized, easy to run marathon. This is the 1 marathon I hope to run until I'm 90 or beyond. The city, spectators and runners all come together for one goal
