"Tips and Notes:
- you don't need to get there as early as they say
- mentally challenging to pass the halfway mark with others finishing - as with almost all half/full marathon races
- good crowd support in the beginning, a bit less on the second half
- work in hill training - not

I pre registered for this race but got hurt and couldn't run in it today. My friend Keith is the RD and went down to the event to check it out.
I did speak with 4 runners who completed the event and they said they enjoyed it and would return

Feel good, positive, supportive group of women at this race. It was well organized and even a beginner could easily navigate the when, where and how of a Tri. The Syracuse area is a great place to visit in the summer. Lots to do on a weekend visit.
