Since I was a freshman in high school, I told my dad and my sister we were running the Chicago Marathon in 2016 (the year I graduated from college). This race meant more to me than any race before. I was so excited to reach that starting line and GO! From

This race was great is every way. The packet pickup was easy and well organized. The course was well marked. Running around the Pentagon on closed highways is something you can't ever do - legally at least!

After the race the food and drinks, especially the beer, were great

This was my first half and I did it in 2:09:45. It was awesome running down by the Mississippi River and down Beale st. I will definitely be doing it again next year!!! The post race activities was amazing!!!
